What's new for 2025?

The GLB has only minor changes for the 2025 model year. A new appearance package is now available and is labeled the Night Package Lite, providing a darkened look to the exterior of the GLB. A 360-degree exterior camera system is now available as a standalone feature.

Performance

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLB 250 is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that you can count on for 221 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. The 48-volt hybrid system was new in the 2024 model year and gives you the same level of output as before. The four-cylinder engine is teamed up with an efficient eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and your choice of either front- or all-wheel drive. The new GLB 250 is estimated to take about 6.0 seconds to reach 60 mph.

Fuel economy

With the help of its new 48-volt hybrid system, the GLB 250 provides a little better fuel efficiency than the previous model. With front-wheel drive, you'll get an estimated 25 MPG in the city and 33 MPG on Vermont highways. If you select the all-wheel drive system, you’ll still do very well with 24 miles with every gallon in the city and 32 MPG on the highway.

Interior highlights

The inside of the new GLB 250 from Mercedes-Benz provides you with standard power front seats, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel and a dual-zone automatic climate control system. You can elevate to available heated and ventilated seats and a third row of seats as an available upgrade. Other available options include ambient interior lighting and the luxury of genuine leather upholstery. The GLB-Class gives you helpful physical buttons and controls located under the infotainment touch screen and that makes it easier and safer to operate. The two-row Mercedes-Benz GLB 250 comes with 27 cubic feet of room in back of the second-row seats and 62 cubic feet with those seats folded down.

Technology

The new 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLB 250 features the MBUX infotainment system that includes a responsive touchscreen and clear graphics. In addition to standardizing the 10.3-inch infotainment touchscreen across the lineup, the Mercedes-Benz GLB 250 also includes wireless smartphone connectivity for Apple and Android, a 7-inch digital gauge cluster and a convenient power liftgate. Available tech upgrades include wireless device charging, satellite radio, a premium Burmester sound system with 12 speakers, a household-style power outlet and a panoramic sunroof.

Safety features

The new 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLB 250 comes with standard safety features that include blind-spot monitoring, a rearview camera, a vehicle exit warning that alerts your passengers of vehicles approaching them from the rear, forward collision warning, driver attention monitoring, forward automatic emergency braking and rear cross-traffic alert. Available safety upgrades include active blind-spot assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, a head-up display and a surround-view parking camera system.
